5 Storey Apartment building with Basement
Stephen Dodd and Partners provided the full structural and civil design for this development and carried out construction inspections throughout the duration of the project. The basement design and construction was quite complicated, considering underpinning required of adjoining structures and architectural limitations for wall thicknesses, unconventional temporary support of adjoining structures was detailed to allow construction to extend as close as possible to the boundary. All floor slabs were post tensioned to maximise usage of the allowable building envelope.
